This site is home to green bean variety trial results from Clemson’s Pee Dee Research and Education Center in Florence, SC.
About
Trials are conducted by the Hershberger Vegetable Breeding and Genetics Team in partnership with McCall Farms.
The 2023 variety trial was modeled after the University of Delaware 2021 Snap Bean Variety Trial, with methods modified to fit local capabilities.
All analyses are conducted in R, and source code is available via the Hershberger Lab GitHub Organization. The repository for the analyses is currently password protected, but it will be made open source upon completion of analysis for each trial.
